    Parent reviews

"To have found the Kindergarten so close to home was like striking gold!"

"When my son moved to Reception at the local primary school the staff commented on how school ready he was, with a good foundation in social and self-care skills. He certainly benefited from a slower and calmer start."

"The environment and staff are wonderful. She is much happier here than at her two previous non-Steiner nurseries."

"It is hard to summarise the qualities of this Kindergarten, however if these could be bottled and passed on, this country would be a happier and stronger place for everyone."

    About Us

    • We provide a family-like structure, and a warm, friendly, nurturing environment for all children. The aim of the kindergarten is to provide a gentle first step towards independence for the child.

    • It is our aim to ensure that every child is treated as an individual with individual needs.

    • Underlining all that we do is an understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy on early childhood education.

    •  Led by experienced and dedicated early years specialists and teachers ,we are fully registered by Ofsted and receive nursery funding for our children the term after their 3rd birthday to the term after their 5th.We also offer 2 year funding.

    •  We are a registered charity and are affordable for all. All the profits from your fees go into the running of the Kindergarten.

    •  The Kindergarten has simple hand crafted toys and natural materials. We allow time and space for undirected creative play which nurtures the child’s initiative, curiosity, imagination and a life long interest in learning.

Nature and seasonal rhythms are central to kindergarten life. We develop a living relationship to the seasons through songs, rhymes, crafts and gardening. We share seasonal festivals with the children and their families.
